rounds out to be 5 year 31 million, which is pretty much 6 million a year. lot better than the one reported. Gives us a little bit more cap room to play around with in the summer.

We're still not going to have any cap space if we sign McGee. Unless we plan to dump someone else like Birdman or Harrington.

Yes they will. Even if McGee gets 7 a year that would still leave about 7 to play with assuming no other moves are made. McGee won't get that kinda money, Not worth it if GK is only gonna play him 23 min a night.

with the cap hold for the rookie deal you will start with about $12.5-$13 million in cap space, but you can only use that cap space in your plan if you renounce all the free agents outside of McGee, and the TPE that was just created by the Nene trade.

Also I doubt that McGee signs for $7 million a year, he has considerably better numbers then Deandre Jordan had last year and Jordan got 4yr $43 million. $7 million a year gets you guys like Dalembert (8 and 8 with a bad attitude for years in Philly) or Kwame Brown, Even with the you tube crap all over I expect Mcgee to get somewhere in the same neighborhood as Jordan. He has the numbers and youth on his side to sign for much more then Dalembert or Brown.

Pistons fan here....During the draft what do you guys think of trading Chandler for a Pistons 2012 1st rounder(projected 8th or 9th pick), Will Bynum and Maxiell...

I see what you're saying, that puts him close to Gallo in being the highest paid Nuggets player. He may be worth that but not to us if Karl won't even give him 30 mpg. I also don't wanna dump a vet for a draft pick. Karl is horrible with rookies, no need to add a bunch of players he won't play.

I say we send Karl and cash considerations to OKC for Scotty Brooks

In my opinion, Wilson Chandler isn't worth this much money - his numbers are awful for a starting SF in this league. He struggles to average 10 points in 30 minutes! He wasn't that good last year, he was awful in the Playoffs and so far in 7 games this year, he's proven that he takes too many shots, takes bad shots and is a turnover machine. Also, his PER is 9.9 - the worst on the team.

No way he's worth 7 mil a year. Over the last 2 seasons (2010-11 NY/DEN, 2011-12 DEN), his FG%, 3PT% and his points have all declined.

Unless Denver FO have a plan up their sleeve to trade him, I say this contract is bad.
