His rookie year Nelson ignored him & kept him on the bench. He would come in from time to time & sometimes would just amaze you. Then he wouldn't play for a week. NY he was in the doghouse right away & never played. When Kevin Love got hurt he play a lot of minutes in the last few weeks of the season & put up some impressive numbers. He needs the right coach & has to mature. He is talented & is a huge upgrade over Birdman. Wait & see.

From every rumor I have ever heard he was always in the doghouse because he refused to actually follow the coaches directions and workhard in practice, Karl is not the type to just play a guy because he is talented, in fact looking at Karl's history he is possibly the hardest coach in the league on talented players, especially if they do not work hard in practice.

Randolph has always been his own worst enemy.

He will work hard here or he won't play at all. Or if he goes out there and makes stupid plays or doesn't play in our system then karl will bench him quicker than u can imagine. He will get some minutes to begin with to prove himself because it doesn't sound like harrington will be fully ready when the season starts from his knee surgery. Its hard to imagine him not playing good with dre, look how good dre made mcgee look this year.
