that was pretty bad

terrible defensive rotations inside, and too many open shots outside.

why is it that every time i looked up, someone 6'6 or shorter was guarding griffin in the post. and fronting, with no backside help

ugh

Looks like you commented on the 2nd game as well, difference being that instead of Griffin being mismatched or wide open, it was Beasley.

Offence also looks disjointed. Poor ball movement, possessions usually ending up with Manimal trying to force something in close or McGee/Randolph/Hamilton taking mid-range jumpers. Lawson was barely involved even with Iggy sitting out.

Yep, let's hope we play completely different come regular season.

Preseason has been terrible.

I would say the last couple of games haven't hurt my argument for Andy.

Its hard to make too much of preseason IMO. We didn't see a full teams or normal rotation. Seemed like a lot of Karl tinkering with lineups. At least I hope that was the case. I'm curious to see who ends up playing when the real games start.

Brewer has clearly earned playing time from his performance in these games. I know Karl loves his energy and hustle while his 3 point shooting and ball handling seems much improved.

It'll be interesting to see if Fournier or Hamilton has earned time backing up the 2. Both showed some good things but Brewer may have limited their chances to get into the rotation. I can definitely see the potential that they like in Fournier but he's probably gonna need some time in the d league.

At this point, I see Koufus starting at center and also getting some minutes at the 4 with Mcgee getting a lot of time off the bench. I'm not sure if Mozgov or Randolph has earned rotation spots going into the year. It might be tough with Wilson Chandler getting a lot of playing time at the 4.

I'm hoping Faried has been held back from going 100 percent because his energy level in the games that I watched was not near what it seemed to be last year. He seemed the same way in Summer League games as well. If he takes a step backwards this year it will be a huge blow to the development of this team.
