Post#1 » by corona » Tue Dec 25, 2012 4:27 pm

8:30 tonight

good feeling we'll step up.

but jesus....when will this road game thing end. 19 of 28 on the road so far. and after this 4 in 5 night stretch....22 of 32 on the road. i don't think any other team comes close. houston & okc have only played 10 road games. memphis 11. clippers 12, lakers 13.

Can't win games in the NBA if no one on the team can make a jump shot.

We were supposed to be one of the most exciting teams in the league to watch, but this is unbearable.

Same problems. Can't score in a half-court set.

Echo what both of you have said.....The poor shooting mixed with turnovers is a lock for a loss. 22 0f 32 on the road is ridiculous....

Tomorrow we play the fully loaded Lakers who are waiting in Denver for us :(

Hamilton dominates again and can only manage garbage time minutes.

I think it is time the Nuggets look into trading either Gallo or Igoudala, personally I would trade Iggy as his fit with Lawson and Gallo is just bad. They should also look into adding Brewer as the sweatener just to force Karl to play Hamilton, how hard is it to see we need a scorer on the court desperately and yet Karl plays defensive guys and hustle players ignoring the best shooter/scorer we have on our roster?

Denver would look better on defense if we were better in the 1/2 court set as teams would have to take the ball out under the basket and our defense would be set. Yes Hamilton should obviously be playing A LOT more. BUT in the playoffs the game slows down and we have to execute in the 1/2 court. I just don't see that happening.

Name me a good half court offence team that doesn't have a single good shooter in its rotation.

Denver has none. Gallo is not a good enough shooter to be relied upon when a 3 is needed. Brewer is not a shooter and is someone you intentionally leave open on the perimeter and go clog the paint.

Hamilton needs to play, and not only that Denver needs to trade in (or sign) another shooter in addition to him. It's also why I was against re-signing Dre because he does not compliment Lawson when Karl decides to go 2 PG at all.

I am a huge fan of Lawson and think he can be the engine if Miller wasn't around. Miller's really tradeable too. Hope they deal him.
