Nuggets MVP thus far??

Post#1 » by Powder Blue » Sun Jan 6, 2013 4:15 am

Coming up on the halfway point of the season. As I watched tonights game I got to thinking about who's been the MVP thus far. Personally I'm not sure yet, gotta think about it a little more. Curious what the rest of you think?

For the most part I would give it to Faried, Faried with his rebounding and hustle has kept the team in plenty of games.

Gonna go with Faried. Averaging 12/10 shooting over 50%. As Rebel said his hustle is contagious. Been the most consistent of the bunch.

For me, CBrew - leads bench in scoring & steals, most of the year has lead team in 3PT FG%, turns up every game, hustles, his passing is getting better, worked the hardest over off-season.

Faried has had a great year to. Gallo/Ty/Iggy just fluctuate too much.

If Gallo turns up in LA tonight and gives like a 7 point performance, he should be traded

Gallinari, the other starters and their impact has been too inconsistent and not as influential as gallos when he shows up.

Faried gets my vote. Love the hustle plays. He's the only one I wouldn't consider trading.

Gallinari's middle name is inconsistent. Not the best argument.

I'll go with Miller. He actually has been consistent(as always) this season and provided a great veteran leadership quality. He's stepped up with Ty's struggles and come up big in quite a few games.

I think by the end of the season it'll change and one of the younger, more heralded players will step up...but Dre really has been great in getting us through this brutal early part of the schedule.

Gotta give it to faried, he doesn't always perform but when he is on the court, he always gives 110%. gallo is a close second, simply because he is our leading scorer. Igoudala has also been coming into his own these last few games. Only going to get better as the season progresses and hopefully ty picks up his game and and with chandler coming back hopefully our defense sees a nice increase. That team we had after the knicks trade was so good defensively.

Faried.

In the 20 games when Faried collected at least 10 rebounds the Nuggets record is 16-4.

stats (20 games, reb>= 10) --- 15.5 ppg, 13.4reb (5.7oreb), 0.57 FG%

The 4 losses were with:
@MIA (116-119, Team TO differential= -5)
vsMIA (98-93, Team TO differential= -2)
@PHO (100-110, Team TO differential= -9)
@MINN (105-108, Team TO differential= -6)

In the 18 games when Faried collected less than 10 rebounds the Nuggets record is 6-12.

stats (18 games, reb< 10) --- 8.7 ppg, 6.7reb (2.3oreb), 0.47 FG%

Gotta agree with KK as MIP, he's playing better and better every day, I'm very happy with him.

The Nuggets improve to a perfect 14-0 at the Pepsi Center when Gallinari scored 20+ points.
