We can make up for losing Dre and we can make up for losing some wings. Sonny Weems and Bobby Brown are flat out balling this year... could just sign them outright. We need outside shooting right? There you go... Weems is sorching nets right now.
Sonny Weems? You mean the Sonny Weems the Nuggets salary dumped a few years ago, and that struggled to get more then a minimum deal offered this last off season? You think he is going to leave CSKA to come to Denver, and do you think the Nuggets are even the least bit interested at this point? I don't see any chance of either of those happening. As for Bobby Brown, he maybe worthwhile but not as a replacement to Miller, in fact I don't see many good teams that would want to count on him to be their primary backup PG, he can replace Stone who i doubt is brought back.
As for my trades blowing, you may be right, but I personally think you are dead wrong. People that have been basketball fans for a long time should realize that guys like McGee usually never get it, he is JR Smith without the defense. In other words huge physical upside, but limited mental capacity. If I could get a decent prospect, a starting quality SG, and a future 1st I trade him today while other teams think he can still be transformed into the monster he looks like at time. Like it or not Igoudala and Gallo are never really going to be a great fit, I would trade one of them for the right pieces. As for Chandler, I would rather have an all around back up big that can play both positions well and can be a decent starter when needed, especially with his injury problems. Fact is the last time I checked the goal is to win a championship, I don't see this team being able to do that, I would rather the Nuggets go out and get some cap room (which these deals give them) and a draft pick or two while also getting pieces that fit better.
