I wouldn't pay much attention to the Faried-Shumpert trade rumors. They are just that. Faried is & will remain a Nugget.

Nuggets beat writer, easily more dependable then Isola.

I know Faried has a lot of flaws but the guy that we're supposedly getting has a lot of flaws.

Don't get sucked in by the media hype, Shumpert isn't half as good as a defender you would think, is one of the worst offensive players in the league and is coming off an ACL.

I can understand doing this for tanking purposes.

I do like to hear this though. I have no problem with trading Faried, but only if he's a piece in a much larger trade to consolidate talent, not a 1-for-1 trade like this bullsh*t Shumpert rumor.

Agree, Faried as part of a package is much more valuable than a one for one trade. Nuggets need to consolidate talent for pieces that fit Shaws system.

This deal makes no sense at all. The Nuggets just lost one of their big men, Javale McGee...why would you even try trading your best rebounder for a perimeter players? So Lawson and Nate can crash the boards? Unless Denver gets a quality front court player (like an Omer Asik), they shouldn't even think about moving Faried

and then having to trade faried to get him back.

not sure why but faried was dropped in 2/3 of my fantasy leagues today (i own him in the last one)

i'm not giving up on him but im not sure if there's some key info out there already
