Golden State @ Denver
Faried doubtful
Iggy comes back to town, IMO Iggy deserves more boo's than Melo gets.
After all the 3's we let Phoenix drain on us I'm a little scared to watch this one....

Mozgov is awsesome.

Re: Golden State @ Denver
Personally I think the team is coming out tight each game, missing open shots, missing easy passes, and they are late on defensive rotations.

Re: Golden State @ Denver
Does anyone feel that Lawson and Chandler need a ban on midrange jumpers and should just focus on drives or 3s?

I feel like most of the team should have a ban on mid range, outside of arthur, Miller, and occasionally Mozgov and Hickson the rest should be under strict orders to only shoot 3s or drives.

I'm usually not a fan of Randolph playing, but he is a way better defender than Hickson.

Okay time to put Lawson up on the trade block. Need a smart PG.

I am fine with Lawson, hard to do much when the defense stacks up against you while the rest of the team just stands there. He is not a superstar that can carry the team alone, and it shows without gallo.
This team desperately needs another scorer, and Hickson has to be traded his defense is terrible but yet Shaw plays him more than Faried.

It worked both ways tonight.
Hickson is one of the worst defenders in the league and Arthur is one of the worst offensive players. That stupid pass by Arthur to Try which went out of bounds was the turning point. Its a simple pass man.

Re: Golden State @ Denver
Yet reportedly the Nuggets are shopping Faried? As sad as it is he may be our most complete PF.
Fact is I would be fine if they would trade anybody they brought in this summer for some real help, but the truth is with a new GM I have a feeling more of the guys who have been here will be the ones sent out if they ever make a deal.

Not smart to trade Faried. There are some assets that just fall into a team's lap....you definitely feel when they are gone. Faried has softened a lot of the missing Superstar anxiety. Not that anyone in Denver was missing a superstar that badly, but we have to remember we were not guaranteed to have the same exact performance upon Melo's exit. Same way we're not guaranteed the same performance because we have Shaw.
What we'll miss is something to get excited about. If we don't like Arthur and Hickson having only one-sided games, we are definitely not going to like it when no one on the team feels any reason to get up. Faried is our "get back up and swing" player. We don't land all those shots, but we get a lot of shots. Lots of chances.

Re: Golden State @ Denver
It falls to Shaw right now.
Hickson is not a completely worthless player but he should be coming off the bench so Mozgov doesn't have to defend two starters on his own. I don't know who should start but Hickson is clearly a problem right now.
Shaws obsession with Foye is similar to Karl's with AC. He really has not done anything since blocking Carmelo, and I'd rather Fournier get his minutes for development sakes.

Shaw is obsessed with Foye? Foye only played 10 minutes, I certainly don't agree with you.
I also don't agree that this falls to Shaw, last night they put up 81 shots took 21 free throws and only scored 81 points, at home. Shaw can't make the team shot better in the middle of the season. Maybe he could play Nate more for more scoring but other than that this team's roster is flawed and it shows...

All I can say about Foye is, if he were everything on this scouting report he would be perfect for us right now:

How many of those traits does he even possess anymore?
The weaknesses portion should just be the whole scouting report.
