Rather than trading mcgee and his contract away, i think we should just enjoy the luxury of having 3 multi-talented centers. Mcgee has gained weight since he last played so lets wait and see what mcgee is bringing to the table. one of the reasons the nuggets won 57games 2 seasons ago was because they has center depth. mcgee mozzy and doufos(koufos). all we did is replace koufos with a younger, bigger, more skilled center. certain games will be more in mcgee favor when you can just lob it over teams heads and other games nurkics back to the basket game are going to be more needed.

nuggets start the season 5-0

Have to agree, rather than do a dump for McGee we should see if he can regain any value. At worst case he becomes an expiring next year, at best we can get something of value

If he cuts into anyones minutes it's McGee's.

Sweet, Mozgov and Steven Adams are my biggest sleepers in fantasy this year. 12/10/2 on 50/80 shooting with low turnovers potential, that's arguably top 30 value in fantasy.

Looking forward to finally seeing McGee. Sure he's got a lot of catching up to do, but seeing Mozgov ahead of him and Nurkic on his heels, dude has to be motivated.

Celtic fan here...

What would you guys think about trading McGee for Brandon Bass and Vitor Favoroni?... just curious?

McGee might fill the needed shot blocker role for us...

Favoroni, when healthy, would be a decent end of the bench big who holds his own underneath....

Bass is a good solid rotational player who rebounds well, and he has recently developed a corner three point shot...His skillset could certainly help your club? ....The salaries match up pretty good...And Bass is in a contract year...(expireing).....there's lots of advantages for you guys...as McGee's contract is a bit large for his minutes...

What do you think?

Can't say I see any real value for the Nuggets, both Bass and Favorini would be bench warmers and waived, so no thanks.

Sorry I do not see Bass helping for the Nuggets at all, fact is I would rather have Chandler taking the backup minutes at PF than anybody else, he does well in that role, and needs more minutes than he will get behind Gallo. also with the hard on Shaw has for Hickson, and the Nuggets still having 2 centers that need time, not to mention Arthur who deserves some minutes. this just creates a bigger log jam.

Faverani would likely get cut, as the Nuggets already have a full roster, and still have to cut 2 more guys just to get under the roster limit. On their roster they have 12-13 guys already who it could be argued deserve minutes.

Also the Nuggets need a shot blocker, especially with the Hickson on the court, One of their biggest problems last year was interior defense, once guys got into the interior it was pretty easy for guards to score. Mozgov and from appearances Nurkic are both decent at it, but McGee is an elite shotblocker.

All three centers have something unique they offer. Timo actually has the most range and is probably the best defender. Mcgee is a blocking beast and has the highest potential. Junu looks solid as a rook. Rebounds well and will score more as he becomes more polished.
