The worst part about losing games right now is that shaw isnt playing the players/lineups that give the nuggets the best shot of winning. as a fan, after a lose, your thoughts should be we lost a tough one tonight. instead, ive found myself asking after loses, why in gods green hell did randy foye touch the floor for more than 4 minutes or why does darrell (anti layup) arthur have free reign to fling up long twos.

This is a team in desperate need of at least two genuine alpha dogs.

We have depth, give it up. This is a league of stars, we can't win this way.

Please edit*- we can't win this way "with Shaw as a headcoach."

Nuggets won 57 games with very similar roster under Karl. I confest, wasn't really big fan of Karl before
but I realize he was hell of a coach. Not at Pop's level but top five in NBA.

I feel like George Karl deserves about 50 000 "sorry to blame you" letters from Nuggets fans.

I don't owe GK a damn thing, I appreciated him but wanted a change and don't want him back. He got stale in Denver. Great regular season guy would then get out-coached in the playoffs and never accept his share of the blame.

Now did I assume replacing him would be easier than it's proving to be? Yes....but do I want him back? No

Shanahan got stale in this town too. McD wasn't the right fit but eventually he was replaced. Oh and if GK was as great as some are now saying why doesn't he have a job?

Cancer's a b*tch.

You don't have to owe Karl anything, but to usurp what he had accomplished and say it was instant success was just plain duuuuuumb.

And as much as we want to start the "who's not getting enough minutes" game.....Foye's the only one making his shots right now. :nonono:

Does anyone have an idea of what shaw is doing? A few problems I have with this team is, lack of consistent defensive effort. On offense too much head down dribbling and not enough ball movement that leads to easy shots.

I know some guys are still rusty, but they have to shake it of quick. One of them being gallo. The nuggets need him playing well and starting again.

We also need faried to go back to finishing around the rim, taking less jumpers and looking for his offense less.

The bigs need to learn to play bigger.. too many missed shots in the lane, and they are getting stripped way too often.

Shaw needs to settle on a solid 8-9 man rotation and stick with it..

Randy foye isn't getting his points thru the offense, he's just coming down court and chucking. The fact that he feels comfortable enough to iso himself is laughable. What he's doing isn't any different from what James Anderson did for philly last year but I bet I'd you ask a philly fan how they feel about Andersons game they'll say he's trash

Agreed. I'd rather see Harris getting minutes. Shaw loves Foye though.

The thing is coming down and chucking up a shot seems to be half of the offense Shaw wants ran, otherwise why would so many guys be doing it?

exactly, with denver guards you rarely find any ball movement that leads to open shots... foye is putting his head down and going for his...
