
Still, I contend that the Nuggets DO have a stronger bench than the Cavs or the Clips and it is POSSIBLE for a smart coach to determine the correct way to use it quite successfully.
Putting Gallo back in as a starter, hopefully soon, the Nuggets bench of WC, Hick, Nate and Foye as the primary bench along with either McGee of Nurkic and still having Gee for defensive spot play and, yes, Arthur and whichever other 7 footer plus Harris is far and away better depth than either Cleveland or L.A have, despite the so-called NBA experts praise for those team benches.
The key really is the coach and I wouldn't mind a bit if Shaw figured it out. I don't have a lot of confidence that he will and, if he doesn't, the smart move is to dump him sooner rather than later for someone the players will relate better to.
