Today we signed Barton to a 3 year, 10.6 million dollar deal. Another hard worker who wants to be in Denver. I'm really starting to like the "rebuild" job we're doing.

Idk that I would call it a rebuild... It's more a a refine. We have a very similar roster (which is gonna change before training camp) but we've corrected mistakes that have negatively impacted this team. I think we should trade kostas and JJ Hickson in a package for a 2016 late 1st and once that's happened we'd have a nice looking roster with a bunch of firsts and young prospects. We could even get back in the playoffs by next season (highly unlikely) if we use our youth and energy and Denver altitude to our advantage. It's no shocker we had the best home record in the NBA a few years ago, we drove players to physical insanity because we were so used to the high altitude and we ran so fast. Excited to see this team next year.

The changes we've made in the culture of this locker room will only support what Malone is trying to do. Faried is still a bit of a question mark, Malone's biggest challenge. But if Faried does come around, is willing to play some defense, this may become a place where free agents potentially will look to join. San Antonio isn't a huge market, but they have a winning culture based upon TEAM. That is what I would like to see being built here in Denver. It wouldn't hurt to get a few top draft picks to assist with the winning part, but that should come here soon.
