I don't think anyone questions getting rid of Lawson but keep in mind we didn't trade Lawson for Mudiay...we traded lawson (likely too late) for a late first and cap space. While we could have gotten more no one will be looking back.

So a quick question about Lawson, is he back on the sauce? Or did we have it backwards and he only plays well when he drinks the morning before a game?

Anybody else think that as well as this team played tonight we are still missing our starting C and our 6th man?

I think there may be some repercussions and adjustments that may have caused such an average game. He no longer is the #1 option which could disrupt his game as well. However, I hope he plays like that the WHOLE season.

Surprised Jokic only played 4mins last night, especially with how much Malone praised him in preseason.

Good defensive effort, I like the way Harris played Harden. Good overall game from gallo, and mudiay looks like the real deal. He needs to cut back on the turnovers tho.

I like the way the Nuggets are playing, Mudiay and Gallinari will lead the team to the playoffs (8th seed), book it, compeers!

Mudiay is going to turn the ball over. I'm okay with it. What we're looking for is progress through the season, and the ability to adjust. An isolated game isn't going to do much for us. He's going to have some clunkers. He's also going to have some 8 assist, 1 turnover games, and we're going to have to resist the urge to assume he's figured it all out.

Compare it to a rookie NFL QB. Some teams really shackle their rookie QB to limit mistakes, others let their guy make a ton of mistakes and learn from them. Elway, Manning, Luck - these guys all were allowed to make mistakes. Take chances, learn from them. If the alternative is sitting him every time he turns the ball over, or burying him on the bench, no thanks.

Remember - any of the best players in the NBA were mostly awful their rookie years. You want to see the flashes, see the ability to grow and improve.

Ty Lawson is Ty Lawson...Passive, passed on threes, passed on taking layups, made the extra pas when not necessary... That's just him as a player. Mudiay is a playmaker. Really happy with this team.
