I'm looking forward to seeing how Harris reacts this game on defense because it seems to me part of the game will require him to guard a much taller Wiggins. I think if he does his duties, even without an offense, he'll be able to knock Willson out for the starting role even when he comes back

I decided to come out and see the new squad in person. Let's see how the Pepsi center does tonight.

As I feared in the previous game the lack of players that can create offense hurting us tonight.

Hard to make of this game.

Open layups, open jumpers and constant misses. I'd like to say that's an off night but it seems to be a constant trend in big losses for this team. Just unreliable jumpshooters everywhere.

Terrible coaching from Malone. A player that commits two of the dumbest fouls you will ever see on a 3pt shooter needs to be benched for the rest of the game, instead was given the greenlight to shoot contested and illadvised jumpers.

Also Jokic needed to get way more minutes. Arugably our best player through preseason should had been one of the first off the bench. Shut down Towns when he came in but for some reason has been held on a leash.

I didn't think Mudiay had as bad as a game some made out. Thought he played better than Rubio tbh. Harris defended well again, Joffrey was torched by Towns. Gallo and Faried mega disappointing. Should have been the best players on the court not shutdown by a semi retired Prince/KG.

But when I say it's hard to make out of this game, it's because Minnesota didn't really play much if any better than us. The amount of FTs they got was insane and was 90% the difference.

How the hell are Hickson and Arthur getting into the game before Jokic.

Hickson hasn't played this season.

Chandler is a SF and his offense is needed off the bench.

Chandler would be very nice to have right now, however he will mainly, if not exclusively play the 3/4 role. He can't cover quick guards, so Harris will probably maintain his starting role, however bigger 2 guards may need to be handled by Barton more than Harris due to size.

I agree, Chandler should be the primary backup at the 3/4 bringing in defense and some offense, which will put Arthur back on the bench hopefully as Chandler can guard the better of the 3/4 and Jokic can start getting minutes.

Return to Denver Nuggets
