Other Teams You Cheer For and/or Watch Closely

Dear Nuggets Fanatics - which other teams do you cheer for every year and/or watch more closely than most? Why?

Personally, I always keep tabs on the Twolves because I was born in Minneapolis - but gone long before they came into existence.

The team I follow most closely after the Nuggets is the Trailblazers. I lived in Hawaii in the 1970s and the Trailblazers were the only team broadcasting live to the islands, so it was a naturally. Not because of the team, but we moved to Portland upon our return from Hawaii and I lived there in the 1980s. My office was two floors about the Trailblazers office and while I didn't get to know any players or coaches and only saw them rarely; I did get to know a few of the staff. The city was Blazers crazy with them being the only pro-team in town and it was always fun to go to their games.

Rest assured though, I began cheering for the Nuggets as my ABA team and have never wavered. My NBA team in my youth was the Bucks but when the let Jabbar go (for financial reasons which back then was a real thing), I sort of casually watch the NBA until the Nuggets jumped to the NBA.

Not really any other teams, but I do root for different players around the league. Anthony Davis, KAT, Paul George to name a few. Always end up rooting for lebron once Denver is eliminated.

Made me chuckle - I've got that some thing going too. Curry, Thompson, LeBron are the perfect examples of the people I love to watch. I love the guys who are willing to sacrifice for the team and even with the stats those three throw up each night, they could each throw up more if they wanted to. And the list goes on: Durrant, Chris Paul, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, and more - there are a lot of players I like to watch. Anthony Davis & Paul George are way up on that list. I like the way you think.

We're far apart on Golden State players though. I just can't stand that style of play. I get that overall it's efficient but every time I see one of them pass up a layup to pass to a shooter in the corner, I cringe. The only GS I'll watch before the playoffs are their games vs. Denver.
