Hornets coming off a bad loss to the Suns a couple nights ago. Suns had a rare double digit win.

Portland will also host the Nets which i assume would be a win for them so we gotta take care of business against Charlotte to maintain that lead for the 8th seed.

Nuggets should have the advantage in the front court and Charlotte should have the advantage in the back court.
Don't like the match-up with Nelson on Walker but he can't begin to cover Batum. Here's hoping Malone plays Murray more than Nelson just because of that match-up. <sigh> But I'm not betting on that.

It all starts with Nelson, he was abused by Walker all night long, he's such a liability on the defensive end of the court, when team offensively struggles , it really hurts the team , every guard in the league can penetrate at will against him. Also poor coaching job by Malone, he should have brought Jokic back in the game in the 4th quarter much earlier, since Pumlee played horrible tonight .

I think it is time for Nelson to fake his year ending injury, what's 3 years in a row.

Also Nelson, Gallo, and Chandler cannot play at the same time as Jokic, they just do not move without the ball enough, clogs up the whole court.

Missed this one. Tater tots and beer festival here. Did no one show up besides Jokic?

They shot 60% from 3 and only had 5 TOs. We shot under 30 and had 13.

It is a bad loss but these things happen.

Yes, others showed up. Murray played fair and so did the Hornets. By the end of the game, they probably should have checked the fans for someone that wanted to play instead of guys standing around on the court.

You are right, these things happen when Nelson and company do not play defense. That is the only reasonable explanation on how the Hornet's shot so well and did not have any turnovers.

Watching part of the game again today and it occurred to me that for all the talk about Jokic adjusting his game as defenses figure the offense out that he is not going to be the problem. Last night the Hornets were overplaying the passing lanes and especially Harris for his cuts, meanwhile our veterans were standing on the perimeter waiting for their chance to go one on one in the drive and kick offense. Murray figured out that is he was to cut behind Harris he was getting easy baskets, but our veterans and coaching staff could not figure that out? Nobody else could figure out back door cuts were wide open? that the weakside was wide open?

I've finally been able to watch the whole game yesterday, and man I was disappointed with the lack of effort and defensive intensity our team showed. Apart from Gallo, Murray and Jokic, everyone isn't even making an effort of defending the opponents (perhaps resting 2 days put off their momentum a lil?).

Barton in his usual iso-and-take-contested-shots-1-after-another-mode, though he put in effort on defending, but he defended like a wild cat jumping around with less productivity. Why is Barton taking the PG role when Murray is on the floor is beyond me. He is terrible at it.

Hornet is able to stop Jokic from being effective passer by blocking his lanes, resulting in Jokic decides to shoot more and scoring. But we know what would happen when Jokic can't past don't we? The team needs to figure it on what to do once Jokic's passing got countered.

Gallo doing his thing during the first half which is getting to the FT line. He got fouled hard and able to keep us in the game during the first half, same with Jokic.

Murray still got a lot to learn defense-wise but you can see his potential to be a top-notch pesky defender in 2 years time. And he never gives up unlike some of our players. He needs the ball in his hands for God sake, why is Malone let Barton take the PG role when Jokic isn't on the floor?

I think DArthur did well despite his limited minutes, he tried to be the glue guy who fill the holes left by others.

Gary Harris, damn, he got his worst game of the season.

TLDR; Jokic, Gallo, Murray did well, barton isn't suitable for Nuggets, Murray should be taking the PG role not Barton. So hardly I'm free to watch a game and they give me this **** effort. Damn.

Silver lining, despite the lack of effort, and Jokic passing were stopped by opponents, wrong PG usage, Gary Harris worst game of the season, opponent hitting all the 3s, we were only losing by 10. Our team is full of potential and if we have the right attitude in every game, I'm sure we can go to the PO without problem.
