Murray got 2nd team all rookie, with 34 1st team votes. That is pretty impressive considering he was playing the whole season with a sports hernia and reportedly picked up a 2nd hernia at some point that they found during the surgery.

Juancho got 5 votes for 2nd team despite barely playing so that is pretty impressive as well.

Brogdon and Hield had better seasons than Murray, but Murray is the better prospect.

I would have loved to add Brogdon and he would have worked nicely, but we just had too many guards (and still do).

So glad Murray was given this honor and I won't dispute him being second team and belonging there.
A little surprised Herngomez was honored also. I think he deserves it, but Denver players don't usually receive appropriate recognition. This is a very good thing.

It says Murray thinks he's ready to play now but then says he's not playing in the summer league. That sounds like they are going to be cautious and/or they saw enough of him last year they don't think he needs the work - I'll vote for they've seen enough!
