Right now, one is a tier above, one is a couple of tiers below us. We're somewhat competitive with GSW, Lakers are in rebuild for the next couple of years.

To be rivals you have to beat a team, the Lakers have had the Nuggets number going back as far as I can remember. I cannot think of a single playoff series we have ever beat them at, and the only 2 where we had a decent chance was in the 80s when the Nuggets went up 1 game and were winning in a blowout half way through the 2nd only to lose 3 starters to injury (including English) in that game and losing the series, and of course the infamous inbound to Ariza twice series.

The Warriors I have never considered rivals, they beat us in the one series and it was dirty they way it all went down, and I have no love for Igoudala, but reality is historically they have been a terrible team. They have never garnered much attention from anybody around the Nuggets until the last few years and during their run we have been a late lotto team since Karl was let go.

can't disagree with you.

I especially agree with you about that warriors series and iguodala.
