Time to give the Warriors their lump of coal......that's MY Christmas wish for them.

While the Nuggets may not beat the Warriors on a regular basis, they actually matchup fairly well. With that said, I'm betting my entire $3 allowance on Golden State by 17 (or better).

OMG, just three days ago we are looked like worst road team in the world, but now it seems in just two days we will reach two back-to-back away wins against teams which we can't beat for years on their court.

A Christmas miracle?

BTW, what is going on Faried? Plumlee playing with injured finger since of the middle of the game, Jokic is obviously sick, but no Faried for a single minute.

Great win. Solid team defense all round.

I like that we seem to have a lot of even contributors scoring wise in our wins. We don't lean on any one player to get us home like too many other teams do.

Not sure if Faried is fighting an injury. I haven't seen anything.
He played at the Pacers, not Detroit.
He played at Boston, then not for the next 5 games counting tonight.
That's 2 games played out of the last 8 games.
So any posters saying "bad matchup vs Warriors" is missing something.

Yay! I told you they play well against the Warriors, but I surely didn't foresee this result.

More impressive because it was 2nd night on back to back, on the road after our starters played big minutes last night

Faried is a poor defender and not a very good offensive player either. That has more to do with the way the game has changed to devalue his strengths (reboudning in particular) and emphasize his weaknesses like 3pt shooting and perimeter defense . If you're going to play him it would be against a muck it up team like the Heat... or even Boston... or a team who plays two bigs like SAS or SAC... you throw him out there against a high octane, 3 point, spread offense and he's a huge problem.

He's only in the rotation when injuries force him into it. Lyles stepping up has made him completely unnecessary.

He's not even a great rebounder. He relies to much on his athleticism, which serves him well on the offensive glass but not defensive. He's just an average defensive rebounder. Far to often he doesn't box out well, his man gets good position, and he has to out-jump them for the defensive rebound.

That's OK, if you watch the Nuggets closely, you'll notice that except for Jokic & Millsap, the Nuggets don't really have anyone else that blocks out much - they all rely on athleticism. At least that appears to be the case an awful lot of the time.
