I predict Gary Harris won’t play tonight

Wow, the Grizz shoot better from the field, the same from 3-pt yet we still win ... how often does that happen ? We won this one at the line. Not a pretty win but one we needed, perhaps MEM needed to lose this one too...

It is unusual to see Denver winning thanks to defense without Millsap and Harris both.

But a win is a win, especially after three straight losses.

BTW, this is another win which Denver won thanks to an outstanding performance in the 3rd quarter (24-13) with not so good game in the rest of the match.

Here is Denver stats quarter by quarter this season:

Average 1st Quarter Margin: -1.1 (#25)
Average 2nd Quarter Margin: -0.7 (#22)
Average 3rd Quarter Margin: +3.6 (#2)
Average 4th Quarter Margin: -0.5 (#21)

I guess it is never happening before in the whole history of the NBA that some team is TOP3 in one particular quarter but 20+ ranked in all others, even on stats based only of the half of the season. Unbelievable.

So....when Lyles plays greqt he is not in starting lineup because Malone doesnt want to break subs playing together, but when it comes to Barton he can get into starting lineup? Why not play Beasley more minutes? Can we PLEASE fire Malone while there are some coaches free? He doesnt have system so new coach wouldnt need much time to get to know team

Add Finch, Messina, and Blatt and there are a few candidates out there that deserve a shot and are likely better than Malone.

Do the Nuggets even consider a current Nuggets' assistant coach?

Who? With the way all the decent assistants have jumped ship the last 2 years and the way the systems are such a mess on both ends I don't know that we have anybody close to being ready to be a head coach in the league.

Wes Unseld, Jr. is a totally different personality, but no head coaching experience.

Bob Weiss has head coaching experience.

If you look on RealGM; Micah Nori is the head coach of the Nuggets. Prophetic?

But I think I'd be looking at the list you gave us.

I would LOVE to get Finch or Hunt, both more interesting than Malone IMO

Sorry I would pass on all 3. While we are not in practices or meetings anybody that is currently on staff has to account for the mess of this season.

Blatt clashed with LeBron, but he and Messina have great history in Europe.

Jackson is in the conversation for best coach in NBA history.

Fizdale had a bad team playing well despite injury issues.

Hunt had our defense playing great and the offense the best it had been in 2 years while the interim, and that was with the front office ordering him to bench 3 rotation players every night.

Finch designed and implemented the offense that worked in Houston, worked so well with Jokic last year, and is now working relatively well with the Pelicans despite the roster issues.

That is 6 good candidates that I would hire well before anybody involved in this mess this season.
