To be fair it sounds like Jefferson is well known to be a good locker room guy.

I really don't have anything against RJ but considering Craig is the one playing it seems like a roster spot is more important than the one being occupied by RJ

I wonder if R Jeff would consider a role with the coaching staff or FO so we can clear a spot?

Well, our two smallest contracts are Jefferson & Jokic, so ... pick one.
On the other hand, my heart tells me the Nuggets will send Craig down to the G-League for the rest of the year.

What I'm actually hoping is that they traded Mudiay for Harris so they could cut him (making it a very stupid trade). Then they could bring Morris up from the G-League and he can probably play the rest of the year with the Nuggets. ((( This would not affect Craig as Morris would be on his 45-day two-way deal.)))

I was reading that once the g-league season is over in mid March, 2 way players can stay with the nba team full time without counting against that 45 days. So the nuggets could just only have him on the roster on game days when they know they’ll need him in the rotation. Unfortunately that means not having him to practice with the team. Not having a g-league team comes back and bites us again. Having a team in Colorado Springs or boulder with coaches on the same page as the nuggets would make that situation a lot easier.
