I'm sure it was in Malone's game plan for Jokic to commit 5 fouls and 5 turnovers, it's not like Malone's job means enough to him to be shown up by a DIVA like Jokic or anything :banghead: :banghead:

If Malone cannot get more out of his players and Jokic in particular, they are lottery bound.

Just finished watching the game; glad we won but was not impressed by how we played. It's difficult to judge a Nuggets game when you try to consider Nuggets' offense vs. opponents defense. Were the Nuggets hot? Apparently - but I'm not so certain we were hot so much as the Grizzlies' defense was weak.

Inconsistency appears to be our primary issue this year and this goes back to our favorite question: Is that on the players? Sure! Or is it on the coach? Absolutely! A coach is supposed to be able to motivate his players (although for what they are paid, these guys should be motivated anyway). But it is absolutely the coach's job to figure out which players play well together.

It was not Malone’s fault that Jokic was having a **** game. He was the focal point of the offense again and got tons of touches but kept committing lazy turnovers and was not playing assertively. He was repeatedly outhustled, especially on the defensive glass.

I think Barton needs to move back to the starting unit at SF. Chandler has been OK on defense at the 3, but his offense seems to disappear. Barton is a liability on defense, but was really helping this offense hum in Feb.

Millsap is distracting force that will cost Denver the post season, watch and see.

The same could be said about Joker and his lack of focus, much as he had in this game. Though to put that onus on any one player is a foolish statement, but I could see that blame put on Malone now that he has a full roster, should cost him his job if we miss.
