Blazers fan here, but I live in Vancouver so I've followed Murray since he has played for the Canadian national team. It's not surprising that people have picked up on his never give up attitude. He's one of those players that want to be in the the spotlight when it's a big game and he rises to challenges. Sure he's made plenty of mistakes this season but that's the learning curve. With him and Harris you guys have a great future in the backcourt.
As a matter of fact I actually think you have lots of great young talent in a number of areas and I can't figure out how you missed the playoffs other than to say the West was damn tough this season. Hopefully a year's experience will count for something and they'll come back next season knowing what it will take to get to that next level and they'll achieve their goals. Just as a comparison, Portland hasn't changed out many players the last couple of years, and with the addition of the one right fit in Nurkic it's made so much of a difference in how they've gelled as a group and keeping the core together and getting experience as a group.
I can definitely see the same path with your team. Keep positive.
