Not unexpected but does show where his professional integrity is....in his bank acct. He knows he won't see much if any PT but also won't see another payday like this anywhere, may be his last year as a player IMO. Hopefully we can medically flag him with those knees.

I don't blame Arthur at all. The Nuggets offered a contract and he agreed. Most probably believe it will be his last year and he has not caused any problems and has apparently been a good teammate.

Not calling Arthur a bad guy, heck I’d take the money too. Wish they could work out an injury settlement because he hasn’t done anything but collect checks. The Nuggets FO better learn to check for injuries better PRIOR to signing big contracts, this one is coming back to bite them in the butt.

I've thought they should work out an injury settlement for a couple of years. They are probably not interested because they have to pay him and then he wouldn't count against the cap, so they'd have to pay a replacement. Our ownership/management seem to value every penny more than a street bum values a cup of coffee.

Yep. Can't blame a player for letting a team throw money at him. Same with Faried. Same with Chandler. Same with Plumlee. Go for it, grab it.

In this league, one bad contract is more than enough. This team has too many, and that's its own fault.

What would it take to get Faried to NY?

I'd trade Faried plus our 2020 2nd for Louis Labeyrie.

Return to Denver Nuggets
