Re: Farewell Darrell Arthur
I'll always remember that time that Arthur... did something.
I think he helped me get through the J.J. Hickson years.

Re: Farewell Darrell Arthur
quick question, coming from a Nets fan here...
Do you guys think Arthur is still a serviceable backup in this league? From what I see he's been wracked with injuries over the years and might be time to hang it up. Sounds like Faried is the better overall player while Arthur at least had the 3pt range going for him. I'm wondering if the Nets consider buying him out.
Our backup unit will most likely be
Dinwiddie / Levert / Harris / ____ / Davis
with rookies Musa and Kurucs getting involved and Napier getting minutes too.
Any takes on whether Faried or Arthur will be a better fit among those players?

Arthur is basically done, the last time we really saw him play he did not have the same athleticism and was declining defensivly while only really being able to shoot 3s. Last year he was injured basically the whole year and did not look good at all the handful of games he was able to play.
Either way Faried is and always was the better player, he will likely be the better fit with that lineup.

Faried off the bench is always going to produce good results.
