J Vanderbilt = Baby Ben Simmons
M Porter Jr = Baby Durant
T Lyles = Baby Abdur-Rahim mixed with Ilyasova

So much talent coming off the bench!

Doing A little research on JV, seems he had early projects as a late lottery pick. I think the rehab could be advantageous to the Nuggets, believe it could allow us to groom a replacement for Millsap or a solid++ backup off the bench.

Heard JV may be ready for training camp although I do see the Nuggets wanting to be cautious with him, much like MPJ. He's off his scooter and into a walking boot but I don't expect to see him until January at the earliest.

Was thinking about Vanderbilt, have heard comparisons with Draymond Green which isn't bad but I've considered him more along the lines of Dennis Rodman with a fair amount of offensive potential. Was checking out some highlights films and saw a really nice outside jumper, some great rebounding (looked just like the same tenacity as Rodman) even some nice passing skills.

Sure but it reminds me of that other guy - you know, drafted #19 with great potential and fell so low because of a knee issue - hasn't gotten much PT in the NBA but lit up the G-League: Malik Beasley.

Let's hope the Nuggets give Vanderbilt a fair shot and he's able to become healthy. But without a doubt, he'll have a bunch of young forwards in front of him, including Porter (hopefully).

Seems that JV is hard to be compared to anyone. So after Jokic and Thomas, we have another unique player out there :D

On some way, he seems to me like some kind of the mix of two unorthodox French players, Joakim Noah and Boris Diaw, which is both very useful players at their best. Interesting is that D.Green, B.Diaw, and J.Noah all three have a breakthrough year during their 3rd season, so I guess we should not complain about anything about Jarred until the 2020-21 season

See, I was trying to do a PLAYER comparison, you seem to be doing a SITUATION comparison. And by the sound of it, you seem think the Nuggets didn't allow Beasley to heal properly ? I vehemently disagree just seems to me Beasley just hasn't beat out the guys playing in front of him, that's why he gets limited PT.

Definitely can see the Diaw comparison but other than the defensive prowess Noah has/had Joakim is a C not a PF player at all IMO. Hope JV can play as rugged ad Diaw does.

Interestingly enough, he sounds like a bigger, better Faried that plays defense...

(and I thought Faried played great with Jokic)
