Monte was ok for backup PG, no turnovers, maybe we couls get something for Thomas if he gets back to old self

It is well known that expiring low coast useful veterans can be traded to the playoff teams for good price. But the problem with that logic is the fact that we are such a team! We have a very tough schedule after the all-star break, and we need a good 6th man for the playoff. I'm pretty sure that if we make last season deal for Tyreke Evans on the trade deadline we would not only reach the playoff but TOP6 seed also, and maybe a 2nd round of the playoff. We have a problem with starting SF Chandler, with starting SG Gary Harris March injury, and with decent backup-PG option (added Devin Harris was not the best option), and for all those problems acquiring Evans would be so helpful. If Monte (or Beasley) improve enough this season for 20+ mpg duties, it is not the end of the world if he must wait for 2018-19 for more notable playing time.

Very happy with MM's play, nice steal and a clutch J when needed. Seems to me this is a guy to hang onto for a while, dude give me a vibe he has chill running thru his veins !!

I'm fine with Barton at SF, I don't like to see him a single minute at PG even when Murray have bad day and Thomas was out. Yesterday, this SF height issue was obvious, but Barton compensate it with good offense. And to be fair, there is just few teams in NBA which starting SF was so tall like Galo is.

Well, I don't really care who plays PG, as long as Malone isn't calling plays.

SFs that have 3 inches on Barton, or more: Durrant, Leonard, Antentokounmpo and more, but if we aren't trying to play defense :o it probably doesn't matter! I'm beginning to buy into Hastings' "score 120 and win" philosophy.
