If we do a lot of motion offense tonight, with a lot of drives to the basket, we should get a lot of free throws. Limit are three point shots. And win.

If we don't take more free throws, or if we have more three-point shots, then we lose.

for this nuggets team it's all about motion and scoring, the defense will happen.

Last game vs Wolves in Minnesota defined our whole season and unfortunately we lose it in a overtime. This time no such importance, but it would define Nuggets start of the 2018-19 season, with eventual lose would be 10-8 bad start of the season where Denver didn't take advantage from more friendly schedule at the start compared to our schedule at the end of the season. Eventual win would be sweet revenge to Minnesota, and 11-7 start would be very close to the expectations record.

Minnesota now is a different team compared to the last season where starting lineup involved TOP15 Butler, but they have bottom-3 bench in the league. Now no all-star Butler, but Wolves replaced him with good 3&D Covington, and Minnesota bench are probably TOP3 now with rebirth of Derick Rose and talented Dario Saric. This game is important for Denver, but even more for Wolves efforts to recover after disappoint start of the season and hold their chances for playoff.

I gotta give credit to those of you who admired Covington's game, I didn't see it until this game.

Just an observation, but where did Gharris' 3-pt shot go ??? Is Mark Price really getting paid as a shooting coach ??

Against Bucks, we have great first half, but then we lose game thanks to awful 3rd quarter. Today everything was opposite, after the anemic 1st half we destroyed Wolves in the third 35-18 with everything works well, and Minnesota didn't score a single point in opening 4 minutes. But instead of routine win, we wasted a double-digit lead in the 4th quarter, with once again having that "black hole" End3rd/Start4th period, this time at the beginning of the final quarter Wolves has 12-0 run and a tied game. Denver was a better team in last 5 minutes, but thanks to officials Wolves are close until the end, but the better team won. Denver is TOP3 youngest team in the NBA, but already viewed from many as league TOP10 team, so the level of disrespect our team has from the refs this season are really hard to understand whole this month. Today we have only 6 free throws (opponent 26) with at least one complain (with a reason) on every 2-3 minutes from some our player.

Man of the match was clearly two-way Millsap with 25 points and 5 steals. Jokic has the worst shooting game this season, not just he is 3-13, but about 5 are near air-ball shoots. But for a change, he finally gets "franchise player" playing time minutes, with 37, so he is in position to contribute to the win with 12 rebs and 10 assists. Not only he played time he should play, despite a very bad game for his standards, but I like how Malone distributed his time. Jokic played whole 1st and 3rd quarter, and 2nd part of 2nd and 4th, which mean opponents are not in the position to play "hack-a-Plum" tactics (Plumlee is NBA worst FT% shooter this season with 35% only). Juancho continues to struggle with shooting, Gary Harris from 3pt as well, but at least Beasly started to play like a real 3pt specialist with 7/10 for 3pt in past 2 games (3/3 today). Morris has another efficient game so our bench didn't allow Wolves Rose-Saric bench to outscore them too much.

Very important win!

Word of the day - inconsistent (again). We only won one quarter.

35 3pt shots and only 6 free throws - we were lucky to win.
