Since this was bumped, thought I'd pat myself on the back. Murray went for 16.7ppg, 3.4apg, 3.7rpg and 1spg....pretty close

How about another prediction. I think this is the year he crosses 20 ppg.

Am I crazy to wonder if Jokic + Harris + Murray can average 60 ppg? I think that's a little high but if Malone let's Jokic run the offense ... maybe, just maybe.

I do believe TunaFish just might be right and that Murray leads the team in scoring and clears 20 ppg.

Been thinking of that one myself, I'll go out there again.

I see him going for 20.9ppg, 5.3apg, 3.5rpg and 1.7spg. I think Jamal will find it easier to score (provided Malone let's the Jokic flow) and will work on his D along with his assists but I think he'll peel out off the rebounds Jokic and Millsap are gonna pull down, thus his scoring increases a bit.

Last season I expected limited minutes for Murray because of his young ages. But I guess Malone take the risk consulting our medical team, because Denver really needs him playing 30+ last season, especially after so disappointing year of E.Mudiay. People often forgetting this detail about Murray: he is younger than 3 members of last season's all-rookie first team (Mitchell, Simmons, Kuzma) and just a month older than Markkanen.

For 2018-19 my Murray prediction is approximate 33mpg 20ppg 4rpg 4apg with over 2.5 3pt and over 57%TS%

My prediction for big-3 is close to 60ppg (Jokic 20+, Murray 20+, Harris 17+)

I take this point a step further by saying all of the Nugget's players should benefit from Jokic. Murray especially.

In large part because of their shooting ability, I fully expect to see Harris continue to improve along with Murray, Lyles, Hernangomez, Beasley and not to be overlooked, Barton. When you look around the league (i.e. the Hornets) you see teams that have a single "star" level player and they may have trouble improving until they can find that other player who is hopefully a great talent also. That seems to be the dream for everyone except for the contenders who already have that piece.

In Jokic, the Nuggets have a special talent who makes other players better and we should see constant improvement throughout the season. I have little doubt that Murray, Harris and Jokic will be considered stars in time and Jokic will be the key. Their futures are heavily intertwined.
Canned in Denver.

That’s one of the things that is gonna separate us from most of the other teams, these guys play FOR each other much like the Warriors do.

Great night from Murray with career-high 48 pts vs elite Boston defense. 19-30 from the field, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists. Spectacular.

Not a perfect start of the season with 3pt%, but this big game (5/11 for 3p) should be the end of that struggle. Since Denver started to play way better defense this season, his 20+ ppg will be even more valuable!

I believe Murray will become the Nuggets #1 option.
I believe it will be another year or two, but after last night ... ... nah, I still believe it'll be no sooner than next year. But last night sure was enjoyable.

Yeah I can see this happen, he's got everything to his game to become a true #1 option. His movement is electric, in particular his lateral movement and step-back. Players just can't go with him.

Thankfully the Joker is selfless and seemingly prefers to get others involved and facilitate instead of putting up shots himself.

They can become a very good one-two punch combo, supported by Harris and Barton - both of which can get hot and go on a tear. Exciting times!

An interesting read regarding Murray - for sure.
As I read the article, I was thinking about some of the old days and various players. There were many that played like and spoke like Murray. One of the most notable was Reggie Miller. He could get under the skin of anyone.

Tell you what, when his career is over I'm betting Murray will be known as an Iron-Man, tough SOB !!

So, 2 games of 45+pt or more in the first half of the season, can we hope for two more before the season is over (then at least 1 or more before the Finals ??)
