We've seen quite a few assistants come and go, yet little change. Malone is in charge of rotations - it is not the coaching staff. We've seen it from the beginning, Malone has his favorites and that's who he uses. Until this year, he has not been very successful. The success this year may simply be our players learning to adjust to Malone. (((and I'm personally opposed to coaches that force players into "their" system - systems need to adjust to the players.

It is clear that he is not the same player, but he does not seem to accept that. It has killed the chemistry our bench had as it is hard for guys to get in rhythm when the play style has changed so much so quickly.
I love Thomas - as long as he is playing with Barton and no Jokic. I think he'd be great in pick-n-rolls with Plumlee. Lyles & Hernangomez might fit well as they could just stand outside hoping to get an open shot. Beasley is probably the only other player that I think would fit next to Thomas (but I think he can play any style he needs to).
Right now, Thomas is equal to Barton IMO - he doesn't fit the offense that needs to flow around Jokic. IMO Jokic's usage rate is way to low!
