Nuggets' Guards

Post#1 » by NuggetsWY » Sun Mar 3, 2019 2:16 am

Point Guards
Murray - still young but what remarkable potential!
Morris - a great backup - just might be good enough we have to trade him
Thomas - probably a one year rental and hasn't proven much, but playoffs is when it'll be important
Goodwin - haven't seen enough to know much
Barton - still can't figure out why Malone wants him at PG when there are other, better choices

Shooting Guards
Harris - having one rough year but if he can get 100% healthy, he's one of the best two-way guards in the league
Beasley - leads the league in 3pt shooting, shows strong defensive potential, can drive & finish, decent handles, can play some SF - if he continues to develop like this ... WOW!
Murray - basically a SG anyway, at least when Jokic has the ball - 43% from the field w/38% from 3pt and improving both throughout the year - still a little inconsistent though - adds 5 assists and 4 rebounds too
Barton - an excellent offensive talent that just doesn't fit in the Nuggets' scheme - weak defense especially at SF
Craig - a good wing defender but perhaps over-rated - inconsistent scorer

2019-2020 Dream
Top-3 Murray, Beasley, Harris (pick your order)
Nice to keep Morris, Craig
