He has been recently cleared to play and he would provide PF depth at the PO. Lydon is useless at this point

I wasn't a fan of drafting Lydon simply because we already had too many in front of him. From what little we've seen of him, he seems to have potential, but I love the idea of signing Markieff Morris. He'll bring a little more of the attitude we need and depending on who we're playing he can play both PF & SF. It sure seems like he'd fit well on our team.

The real issue is that both Markieff and Trey Lyles are represented by Rich Paul. By signing Morris we are essentially putting Lyles on the DNP list, he knows that. With both about to be free agents this summer, it will significantly affect Lyles next contract. Now if he could find someone like the Cavs or Hawks that wants to sign Lyles and give him minutes to end the season, wile getting basically a free look at him than you may be able to convince Paul to allow Markieff to sign here. It is a very long shot though as that is getting more creative than our front office is likely to get.

Also it was weird as Hastings was talking about it today on the radio, and his cohosts both said that Lydon could be cut, Hastings blew that idea off. He mentioned how people were ready to dump Beasley 2 years ago and look at him now. A radio caller mentioned the fact they declined Lydon's option, and Hastings said that they could still bring him back on a minimum deal for a year or two. Take it how you will.

Interesting article about the Nuggets at the end of this article. Much focus on Thomas and I agree with what it says.

Nuggets Month-by-Month winning strike which started 13 months ago is in danger at the end of this season. Current March record is 4-3, but in the last 8 games where we need 4+ wins 6 are hard road games and winning 4+ games out of April 6 games will be even more difficult.

*4-3 *March-19
7-4 February-19
12-4 January-19
8-4 December-18
9-6 November-18
6-1 October-18
5-1 April-18
8-7 March-18
7-3 February-18
7-8 January-18
