Nuggets earned a ton of respect from me this series. I was pretty harsh on the Nuggets for building around Jokic, I just didn't think you can build a team around a C in 2019, but that boy is different. I still think the Nuggets need a real PG who can take some pressure off Jokic, but all in all, they're gonna be mainstays in the Top 4 in the West for a long time and I'm sure this won't be the last Blazers / Nuggets battle in the playoffs in the near future.

No, we don't need a real PG playmaker, because we have point-center Jokic. LeBron as point-forward doesn't need real PG, combo-guards Wade and Irving perfectly suited to his game, as well as Steph Curry with point-forward Draymond Green, so Jokic-Murray is a good combination too. Murray is already our 2nd best player, but as expected for 21-22 young guy he needs some time to become more consistent. What we really needed last two seasons, since Danilo Gallinari left team, is a decent SF starter. Willson Chandler, Will Barton, Torrey Craig, and Juancho Hernangomez can work as backup options. I hope our next season rookie Michael Porter Jr will play on NBA-starter level since his debut season because I lose my faith on the ability of our front office to find good roster solutions on FA market or via trades.

I just think you need someone who can take some of the pressure off of Jokic. It's great that you can run everything through him and he's amazing at it, but I also think putting so much on his plate is gonna be trouble for the Nuggets if they don't have someone else who can create offense for others on the team besides your center. Of course he is, why are you surprised? He is just as bad and has always been just as bad as the rest of the Trailblazer fans. Either way let them have their glory for a few days, it will end soon, after all this is the furthest they have been in a long time. Lillard is a year away from turning 30, we both know what that means for guards who depend so heavily on athleticism. This is likely their last chance and they really do not have a way to keep this current team together even next year.

Saying we need a PG is saying that Murray needs replaced, which is dumb. The issue is not the ability to create offense, it is having 3 defensive specialists in the lineup because who they hoped would be a 3rd scorer is to selfish and dumb while being bad on defense. Outside of Jokic and Murray we have nobody that is a true scorer, Harris is arguably the best perimeter defender in the league, but his offense has been lacking since his injury and even prior he was more of a 4th option, same with Millsap. Craig is not a guy you want to count on for any offense. That is not a PG problem, it is a roster issue that will hopefully be fixed this summer.

He's (Jokic) literally their entire team right now. He's their goto score, their goto rebounder and their goto playmaker. This loss is on 2 things, Barton refusing to play in the system and being put on the bench for Craig which cost us all our spacing for the starters, and our bench totally falling apart after being a top 5 bench all season. The hipsters can say what they want, but we all know the truth. This series was lost because Hood, Collins, and Curry all stepped up when needed and our bench didn't and that was the difference in games 3,6, and 7 with Barton putting up a -25 in game 6 alone. If our bench plays theirs even in those games it never gets to game 7.

Thanks - I get where you are coming from. But I don't agree. Even if we were to add someone of Lillard's caliber, we'd still want the ball in Jokic's hands. Besides, Murray's only became old enough to buy a beer this year. Most of us believe he'll be the perfect running mate to Jokic. They already seem to have something special when they work together.

Yuppers, I'm looking forward to a healthy Blazers team getting beat by a healthy Nuggets team in next year in the playoffs.
