Nice story here about a guy who I though showed a lot of class last season.
The story mentioned IT wishing they would put him in that triple overtime game in the playoffs. I wondered at the time, and we can always wonder---could the guy have pulled off one or two clutch shots with everyone else completely exhausted?

I am happy for Isaiah that he has figured out how to be effective again and is showing some value as a good PG, but there was no way that he deserved any minutes in that overtime game last year over some of the bench guys who had been a big part of getting us to that game. Malone should have used 1 or 2 of those guys, but Thomas was terrible last year.

I had hoped Thomas could have been a serious contributor for us. He had been a clutch performer and an almost unstoppable offensive force, especially considering his size. But yeah, last year? No, he was still lacking. It would be really nice to see him succeed. He has such a solid attitude.

IT definitely didn't earn minutes last year. At the same time, he was the only person on the roster who had ever experience that kind of playoff pressure, much less excelled in it. It would have made some sense to see if he could come up with a clutch basket or two against exhausted opponents.
