IF we have ANY problems beating the Knicks you know a drastic shakeup is coming !!

Nope - "IF we have ANY problems beating the Knicks" - there should be a drastic shakeup but ownership has made it clear that Malone is their guy and while Malone occasionally threatens a lineup change, he seldom does anything about it.

No way we are going to lose vs 4-17 team and third straight game after our 13-3 start (which includes 2 lottery teams). Jokic career average in MSG is 25+10+, but what I really want to see against this losers is actually some MPJ minutes after while.

No MPJ in first half, but at least rest of the bench shows up some serious efforts. +23 ar halftime is nice to see, considering we have tough b2b game tomorrow vs Celtics, so blowout win 2nd half rest would be great for our starters.

Not really a good test to evaluate this team, at least they did what they were supposed to do. Goodbye Coach.....

Fizdale !

OK, I will not complain too much after nearly perfect game, but did Malone really needed to wait last 5 minutes and 40+ lead against league worst team to finally give chance MPJ after his full DNP week?

Knicks are really bad team, but still, we are so awesome in one stats category which really deserves to be mentioned: 21/39 for 3pt is out of blue.

An also 38 assists, season high. Considering it was against the Knicks...I would simply consider this game as a fluke.

Only negative point is MJP minutes, come on Malone, give the kid at least 10 minutes per night

The bench played more minutes than the starters and took more shots than the starters and frankly, the bench was the difference in the game. I was not overly impressed by the starters. It sure seemed like they assumed they were going to win and just didn't really make much of an effort. Jokic had double figures in boards - so at least he made an effort there.

The real difference in the game was not only the bench but the hot night from 3pt range.

Plumlee had double figures in boards too!

Malone just does not play rookies and evidently he is going to sit Porter as much as possible just to prove that he does not play rookies. Except for Mudiay, it has been his pattern.

Yes, that is an old issue and it is a well-known pattern for Malone, but still, if you take to look at the rookie years of Monte Morris (his real rookie season was last season, not the previous ones where he played just 3 games overall), or Murray, or Mudiay, or Jokic, or Nurkic... or Ben McLemore rookie season in Malone only Kings coaching full season... they all at least get 20+ minutes per game. Just 8 MPG for MPJ mostly on blowout wins garbage time and with DNP in 8 out of 19 games is not "just Malone" another rookie case despite obvious talent, but "Malone on steroids" case so far!
