In normal circumstances, this would be one of the most anticipated games of the season and the hardest challenges for the Nuggets. But Miami without Butler, without the crowd, and most probably without Herro and Dragic should be nothing but an easy target.

Jokic was a little bit out of gas vs Dallas, but really no reasons to panic after his first *bad* game (his standards are so high this season so we complaining after a 20-10-4 game). Except in the case of a blowout win, Porter should play 30+ and Green 25+ minutes.

Heat starts the game with 0-13 for three and Denver limited them on just 12pts in 1st quarter and just 33 on halftime, so this is going to be Nuggets' easiest win this season, which is not so shocking considering three opponent starters are out. Jokic achieve double-double in every game this season so far, so the only drama in the rest of the game is will Malone stops this streak once Nikola grabs rebound #9

3rd qtr blues, FO/Malone have to do something about this issue.

Denver has big issues with 3rd quarter so far this season, but losing to Miami without Butler, Herro, and Dragic 32-16 is a new low :o

Another good win (sans the 3rd qtr), we're still within 3 wins/losses of the NBA lead.

Glad they were able to weather that 3rd quarter storm. Strong performances again from Green and MPJ. Also liked the fact that Barton was not in that closing lineup otherwise, the score could've been closer. Haha

Routine win as expected once starting lineups is announced. If we ignore the 3rd quarter issue Nuggets outclassed Heat in the rest of the game, winning 1st 2nd 4th quarter in double-digit each. Jokic and Murray played 35+ minutes as usual but 30+ and 25+ should be the new normal for MPJ and Green, not 25 and 20. Barton was good in 1st half Millsap in 2nd half, but Porter and Green showed in 2nd time when Miami comes close 70-77 why they should get an advantage. Porter scored 13 of his 17 points in the last 13 minutes and has career-high 4 steals which shows that his defense improving, while Green achieved 15-10 double-double in just 20 minutes. Talking about double-doubles Jokic streak continues with 18/18 this season, but like in the previous game vs Mavs his numbers are not so great, and once again has less than 5 assists. Maybe he is just bored by a weak opponent. I can't remember are Harris ever before leading the Nuggets in assists (7 today). I think Murray should not play today once it is announced Butler/Herro/Dragic will not play, his shoulder obviously is not fully recovered.

With 5th win in the row, the Nuggets are TOP4 seed on West for the first time this season, and they are there to stay!

Anybody hear anything about Hartenstein? Jokic and Murray both seem to be getting worn down, with the condensed schedule and short offseason I would prefer if Malone would find a way to limit their minutes for the next month or two so we can be healthier and ready heading into the playoffs.

Feels to me like Malone is just preferring to use JaMychel Green at backup C than Hartenstein. Greens not doing a bad job most games but I thought Hart was doing just as well, seems Malone just wants his own rotations and Hart is odd man out. He can be an idiot sometimes.

A win in San Antonio will make a perfect road trip, just a little team effort (maybe giving Joker and Murray a little rest) and it'll give us a better presence in the Western Conf.

I think it is small ball. Miami has no real backup to Bam. Malone seems to like playing Greene at center with MPJ at power forward with the bench unit against some opponents. It has been effective.

A lot of the NBA teams have not placed much emphasis on the center position.
Canned in Denver.

3rd quarter is our worst quarter this year. We have been outscored in 11 out of 18 3rd quarters so far.

Not sure any other stat from this game is significant -unless- you consider Nnaji & Cancar & Bol & Howard being giving just a couple of minutes each. Ridiculous in a 27 point win. A perfect opportunity to let them experience playing - wasted!

Agreed, would have been a perfect opportunity for our 3rd unit to get some PT except for that 3rd qtr.....hmmm, could those two things relate ?? Only Malone knows for sure, :banghead:

Nnaji jumping twice on Olynyk's pump fakes 30fts from basket made me laugh. I'd love to see Howard more, he is amazing shooter. But with Murray, Morris and Campazzo there are no minutes, unfortunately. Nnaji plays with joy that reminds young Kenneth Farried. Would like to say something positive about Čančar but can't. He is future Euroleague player. Who knows if even Euroleague starter.

Nnaji just turned 20yo, give him a break. Agree with you on Cancar, full of potential, lacking on delivery. Howard should get his time in the future, he could definitely fill a role, whether here or on another team.

Thought I gave Nnaji a praise.
