I understand that, but I think I'd rather have Nnaji. 6'6" or so guys are easier to find that 6'10" or so - especially with the agility and shot of Nnaji. He's not there yet, but if he comes close to his potential, I'm drooling over Porter & Nnaji as the forwards next to Jokic.

All of ever heard leaked from the Nuggets was that both Nanji and Hampton were exceptional prospects. I think they remain so. In the future I look for both to start. Hampton was the target and the primary trade asset that brought Gordon to Denver. Harris was the salary. The Denver first going out greases the wheels but it is not the primary reason driving the trade. That had to be Hampton.
Canned in Denver.

Agreed, the rumors I have read was that the Nuggets were trying like hell to trade Bol but the Magic insisted on Hampton. It has nothing to do with how talented NNaji is, but there are reports that the Magic had Hampton as prospect 1B at their draft pick.

Return to Denver Nuggets
