Not anymore, i am so used to it now that i stay late even when Denver is not playing

15 years of watching Denver can do it to you

Yuppers, games are played at crazy hours for many people, especially outside of the continental U.S. But I don't mind. I remember the 1960s & 1970s when there were very few games on TV. Radio was how I got most games. What games were on TV, were often delayed broadcasts that didn't play until 11:30 PM regardless of what time zone you lived in -- even the NBA Finals.
When the army sent me overseas, guys would gather in the middle of the night to listen to the game because there was no such thing as rebroadcasts.
I just consider what we have today and am thankful. I also believe it will get better.
At this time, the biggest income the NBA has is television (I believe that is true). The largest viewing audience is the East Coast of the United States (plus Los Angeles but ...). So games are set to play during prime time on the East Coast. If a West Coast game is really big, they don't want it to start before most viewers arrive home from work - no earlier than 6 PM with 7 PM considered ideal. That is 10 PM East Coast time though. So television does not like that either, not really. It's all a juggling act with the NBA watching television juggle the schedule.
Most of us probably already know all of that, but I thought I'd just remind everyone.
