Two lower seeds qualified already while three others will have the match point in game 6! Craziest 1st round ever!

Malone's traditionally biggest playoff nightmare is how to stop the opponent's good backcourt players. 21yo Edwards looking like HoF (32-5-5 in the Nuggets series) is just another new example. That means our worst PO matchup is GSW Curry-Klay(-Poole).

Good to see the Kings survived game #6 in San Francisco, wish them luck at home in final game #7!

Despite being the obvious winner of the Western Conference regular season already since February, bookmakers around the world never recognized the TOP3 favorite status of the Nuggets until we take an early lead yesterday vs the Suns. If GSW loses game 7 vs Kings and Denver takes a 2-0 lead vs Suns, our THE RING odds will go under 5.00 as never before in the franchise history, and of course, Nuggets will be considered as clearly the #2 contenders in upcoming days. BTW, if you ask me, Phoenix is a better team and not a less dangerous opponent than Boston, despite Celtics arguably having better chemistry, a much more useful bench, and will have a home-court advantage vs Denver.

Out of the playoff teams left, we're the only one holding serve :D

With the Warriors decisively beating the Lakers, tying their series at 1 to 1, the Nuggets have an early advantage being up 2 on Phoenix so far.

However, I am not sure who I favor in the Lakers/Warriors bracket.
Canned in Denver.

I'm in favor of the Lakers, but not because I think they are a worse team.

Our biggest playoff nightmares under Malone are traditionally opponents' guards. Denver well handled KAT (and Gobert), but not Edwards, we did well against KD (and Ayton) but not against Booker, not even to mention previous Mitchell or Lillard cases which were all overperforming vs Nuggets. So I won't be happy to see Curry-Klay-Pool against Nuggets in WCF, one of the strongest backcourt lineups in NBA history. Maybe the current Lakers or Celtics teams are better than GSW2023, but the Warriors are our worst matchup IMO.

While $25K is chump-change to Joker, NO PUNISHMENT for Ishbutthead shows the disdain and disrespect for the Nuggets

For the first time in franchise history Denver Nuggets are considered as #1 favorites to take the Ring!

Because of several cheap losses at the end of the regular season when we don't care about anything happy with the secured WC#1 seed (Nuggets are just 2-5 in the last 7 games) we are just one single win short to have home court advantage against Sixers (5-2 in the last 7 regular season games) in eventual 2023 NBA final. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Denver is winning this series, in our wins we've outscored the Suns by 14.7 points per game while in the wins they've only beaten us by 6.5 ppg. And in their 2 wins, Booker has shot a sizzling 79% from the field and KD start the last two games going 1-7 (but kept afloat by the refs). Not sustainable IMO. We take game 6 in PHX !!! Go Nuggets

He did not show up in the whole PO. 33ppg (54%FG) during RS, 25ppg (45%) in PO. And they met Brooklyn in first round, not a real PO team

Giannis unknown international player climbs his way to win b2b mvps then finally next season brings home a championship to milwaukee after 50 years.

Jokic unknown international player climbs his way to win b2b mvps then finally next season brings home the first ever championship of the franchise in 56yrs.

I want this in NBA history. I want this written in stone. I'm getting emotional just thinking about it. Bucks championship was one of the greatest sports moments I've ever experienced in my lifetime and it's your guys turn and I want it for you guys badly. I'll be rooting hard for Denver!

Incredible year for my two favourite teams. Nuggets close to unthinkable and my football (soccer) team needs only one point in next two games to finish nine year drought without tittle. We were at third place seven points behind after first half of the season.

What is next? Broncos stop sucking, too?

Pump your brakes. Job is still not finished. We have to enjoy the process and the path to the title, but it can also be see as a huge lost opportunity in the future.

It looks so close....but still finish the Lakers. It would be wonderful for the media having LJ overcoming a 0-3. Pressure is going to rise after every game LAL win.

And Miami is not a traditional 8th seed. Butler is a bad fit for us and we are not very strong guarding threes, which is Miami major advantage this PO. Additionally Herro shall be back and Spoelstra beats Malone by a huge margin and will prepare something complex against Jokic

Return to Denver Nuggets
