How in the world would Denver and Philly be rivals? Philly sucks....we play them twice a year....and we'll never see them in the playoffs. Id think you work for ESPN trying to create a bull 'rivalry' out of nothing.
The Nuggets don't really have any true rivals right now. The Spurs are the closet thing to a rival, and then the Jazz. But there has to be some type of history between the two teams. The last real rival we had was Minnesota, because of the fact they were in our division, we played them in the playoffs, and every single game was full of tension/fights/ war of words. From Nene beating that Kandi ass(and getting suspended), to Eason calling KG gay during the playoffs, to Cassell being a bitch ass mutha **** and throwing the ball at Kenyon's face and getting ejected, Melo's game winner, etc etc. Every game we played against them was like a playoff game, high intensity.....the games actually meant something.
Rivalries are created on the court, not because of some trade between two random ass teams. Maybe its bigger to you because you used to be a "fan" of the Sixers and now you're a "fan" of the Nuggets, but to any true fan of the Nuggets, this game means nothing more than us needing to beat a **** team tonight before going to play Phoenix tomorrow.

i don't think texanballer was ever a nuggets fan, or posted here a lot.
