Yea, Monte is valuable, but not 70 mil. kind of valuable, that's starter's money

Is it time to try to start Monte with Murray at the 2? Gary Harris needs to get it together or be benched at some point and Monte in the starting lineup might make the most sense.

Morris's obvious defensive weakness is less damaging against opponents' 2nd units, while Harris's defensive skills would be wasted if they going to be used not against opponents' best guards. Also, Harris lost his shooting so he must play as many as possible minutes together with Jokic where his cuts make him more useful in the offense. So it is not about who is better now, but who is more useful as a starter. But until Harris is in the slump and Morris is in better shape Gary Harris's minutes should be reduced in favor of Morris. If Harris's slump is not the slump but new reality he should be traded, but that is another story.

Return to Denver Nuggets
