Why give JR game experience?! When Karl throws JR out in the playoffs to play, he can blame JR for the 1st round exit again, and not his horrid coaching.

A solid win, I was hoping Iverson would reach 40, but he still had an amazing game. Let's carry this momentum into tomorrow.

nice one :) a.i. played like i expected :-D somehow a very entertaining win. i liked our ball movement very much. how many lobs did we have? the 4th quarter was very good to show who's the man on the field.

i liked what i saw from nene. the only thing that bites me a bit were his 2 fast break opportunities in the first? second? don't know anymore... they were nice opportunities. he should have made that those dunks. the one that was rejected was kind of a shame ^^ but he still played very good

EDIT: it looked like Andre wanted to proove something to the nuggets. a little bit selfish for a point guard like him...

AI played a lot, but that's normal for him. Karl over played AC though, could try giving him a rest in the 2nd half, but since Chucky sucks and he has a stick up his ass about Yak and JR, he kept him out there.

i wondered where our bench was too. it was clear that iverson would play his normal minutes because he never gets tired. and this was an important game for A.I. he looked very motivated :D

karl rested camby, martin and melo very much. but carter played extended minutes. yeah he played well but his energy isn't endless... chucky lost himself out of rotation somehow because of his actual bad play.

But i think J.R. is another story. i expect him to be traded. it doesn't seems like karl wants to use him again. i start to think the meeting they had 2 weeks ago was about that topic. maybe karl told him that they plan to trade him, maybe he asked him which teams he would prefer. it would make sense. i never saw a coach bench someone soooo long for nothing. i can't agree with karls reasons. it MUST be a trade

Why would you bench someone you want to trade? To kill their trade value? JR is still a young player and if you want to move him, need to show other teams he can play well. That ups his value.

It is very very unlike he is actually traded though, the FO guys have major man crushes on him. Karl is just a douche bag.

Maybe you all need to come to grips with the fact that JR isn't gonna amount to much in a nuggets uniform. It's not like GK is the only coach that won't give him minutes. Nobody else did either, u trying to say all those other coaches are idiots too????

They're not going to trade him, not unless it is apart of some bigger deal(which is even more unlikely). J.R. makes next to nothing and theres really no one we could get for him that would be worth a damn, especially now that his value is in the ****. Hopefully they re-sign him this summer for cheap, which shouldn't be too hard since hes restricted and no one would want him....and hold onto him for several years to come. And hopefully by that time Karl is out the door.

He will amount to nothing as long as Karl is the coach. And what do you mean by nobody else would give him minutes?

In his rookie season, out of highschool, he played 76 games, started 56 of them, and played 24 minutes a game. Seems his coach then had no problems playing him.

Next season the Hornets had a new coach, who didn't get along with him it sounded like, so it dropped to 55, 25, and 18. Can't really fault the coach there though, if what came out is true, JR wasn't putting in the work.

So.. lets see, you claim nobody else played him, yet his coach his rookie year played him a lot for a kid out of high school. His other coach also played him, just less.

And this year, JR has supposedly been coming to practice on time. He just isn't always putting in extra practice. You think that's a good reason to bench him, and play someone whose playing a lot worse than he had been?

Yo Nutty

Don't forget about the bulls that traded him to us for next to nothing. JR makes bad decisions. He is a larger risk than reward out on that floor. His erratic play won't get us out of the first round.
