Melo cant win by himself, and that´s my friends, its a hard lesson that some players are trying to teach him... Game 4 was a joke, every single possession from Denver was handled by Carmelo, ppl. are blind if dont see this...

A post on the Twitter page of Nuggets guard J.R. Smith has upset some in the organization.

After Denver lost to Utah on Sunday night in Game 4, Smith posted: "You play selfish you lose selfish that's all I'm saying about the game!"

The Nuggets had just 13 assists in Game 4. Smith didn't make himself available for comment after the team's shootaround on Monday.

"What do you want me to say? That he shouldn't have made that comment? I don't know. He shouldn't have made that comment," acting coach Adrian Dantley said.

Denver is down 3-1 in their first round series with Utah.

"It's frustrating to lose, and people can say what they want, but at any rate, when we win, we win together. ... I don't think we've been specifically selfish," point guard Chauncey Billups said.

Theres losing because theres sucking goat dick. No playing like a team. Not playing with the same hunger like last year. Just not playing well period. Don't blame it on Melo. What has Chauncey Done? What has JR done? what about Nene? Melo is the ONLY real consistent scorer on that team.

If nuggets has a real system and the other guys actually show up,then Melo would not have the ball in every possession
What has Nene done in those past 3 games?

Melo is the only everything on this team, Melo is the team, that´s the problem, and you cant blame ppl. to not showcase their baskets abilitys if the ball dont come to their hands...

So the rest of the team gave up and played liked pussies to teach Melo he can't win by himself? Are you freaking (Please Use More Appropriate Word). Melo is the only one who cares out there. The rest of his team mates should STFU and play.

I actually think Melo plays quite well off-ball. He dosnt need to be the point-forward or pg. Chauncey should be doing all of that. While JR should be that Spark off the bench. JR Failed so far. Not saying he wont play well. Just saying he hasnt so far. The reason the ball is in Carmelos hands is because no one wants it. They also dont seem to know what to do with the ball once they get it, Except give it right back to Carmelo so he could score.

JR agreeing with you isn't a good thing. If that idiot is thinking along the same lines as you then you seriously got some problems.


Melo doesn't control what other players do on the court. If they want to run and cut they will. If they want to be lazy and stand and watch then they will. They are all grown men out there it is there choice to stand and watch not Melo's

Instead of standing on the perimeter why can't they go down low and fight for the offensive rebound. We have seen Melo do that when he isnt getting the ball.

I am tired of the "My favorite player isn't giving effort because Melo doesn't pass him the ball" You DONT NEED THE BALL TO PUT OUT EFFORT.

Was DWill blowing by AA and CB because they aren't getting enough shots.

Is Nene, Bird and Martin getting there butt kicked by Boozer and Millsap on the defensive side of the ball because they aren't getting enough shots on the other side??

It's not Melo's fault that the team is shooting like ****. JR has never been dependable. Ever. Billups is shooting like 38% in the last few months. Melo is the only one scoring the ball. These stupid accusations are just (Please Use More Appropriate Word). Don't you think if the open man would hit the shot he would give them the ball? This is the Clippers series all over again.

Expect ball movement today, Nene, CB and JR all getting more then 10 shots and Denver will WIN just to lose this series in Utah in Game 6.

Billups and JR both had over 10 shots in game 5. CB was 6-14 and Jr was 3-11 what does matte if they get more shots and can't hit ****. But it's Melo fault they shot 9-25 last game

It doesn't take Nostradamus to see our terrible frontcourt coming. People say Nene is lazy but at least he records assists and has a top 5 fg%. If you're fatigued find out other ways to contribute....Nene usually does.
