i heard you guys are going to trade for derek caracter..... i've been watching him play from his days in high school where he dominated greg oden....to his horrendous stint at louisville....and to a pretty decent finish up at utep and underwent a change in work ethic (lost like 40 lbs in only a couple of months). and is rededicating himself to the game.....this kid has one of the most polished low post skills sets in the draft, and if not for his attitude at louisville, he would have been a lottery pick....he's strong, good footwork, better work ethic, somewhat athletic, probably one of the best low post offensive players in this draft, and he can shoot the ball from deep and midrange (surprisingly, not saying he's gonna be a 3 point shooter, but he has shown the ability to shoot.)...you guys probably are going to get the steal of this yrs draft.....he's like a dajuan blair, but more polished on offense....congrats...i stand by my words on him.....my fellow lakers are haters....

the FO confirmed that they couldn't make any trades in the draft.

we came extremely close to buying his rights from Lakers but its looking like he'll prob just get cut from their camp
