Denver post reporting he had knee surgery this summer and might not be ready for camp.
http://www.denverpost.com/nuggets/ci_15394327Safe to say his productive days in denver are over. I always like his intensity but he could never stay healthy for a long period of time. Hopefully we can get a couple good players for him at the trade deadline.

I'm still a Kenyon fan, but I'm ready to trade him. That said, I'd rather save him for the deadline than trade him for someone like Biedrins. I think we could get a ton more value for him from people who have given up and want to get rid of salary before the unavoidable lockout.

salary is not going to matter if a lockout happens, as teams are not going ot pay contracts.

You're right, I did screw that up....but this post was for Nugget fans, not the grammar police.
Even if there's a lockout teams will still trade for him because his 16.5 mil comes permanently off their books at the end of the year and they won't be tied to that salary whenever play is resumed.

you kidding me?
remember when he was fighting to get more than 20 mpg a few years ago and karl tried to limit his minutes........sorry, but that is the right move at this point, and it needs to be accelerated
The ONLY caveat while limiting his minutes is he HAS to perform at the top level, such as he did when he was healthy this past season.
thing is, he is immensely talented and athletic - we just need to concentrate that in short bursts.....thing is if he can be that guy that steps in and dominates that will be worth it
Thing is, what does Kenyon care if his minutes are limited....he knows too much time may lead to injury, and we know even after surgery he is capable to putting it together and perform at a high level.
just limit his minutes and concentrate doing the defense in shorter spurts.....make him a supremely effective defensive sub that is able to get a few dunks a night and let it rest at that
