If we get Al Jefferson yes.

If it's to pair with Nene no.

I'm glad the FO is trying to do something, but it isn't nearly enough. Losing Kenyon for Biedrins is actually a down-grade.

How so? Kenyon can barely walk, and probably wont play much, if at all, next season. It's like people are completely forgetting about his injury situation. He will be effectively useless on the court.

I'm aware of his injury... I'm talking about from last season. Obviously it's better to have Beans than a Kenyon who isn't playing.

Which will be what GSW thinks, especially since they DO need Biedrins at C and K Mart is a lot of money to waste.

Not if 85% of it is covered by insurance. If he gets traded to a losing team, he might just take the year to get himself fully healthy instead of rushing back. Saving money.

I'd rather start Petro than have Biedrins.

He should have been starting after Kmart went down when he showed some promise.

Especially since Nene would produce much better at PF

Well if Jefferson heads to GSW, than we could probably get Biedrins easily

I would take a healthy beidrens over the Jefferson that played last year. While Jefferson was trying to come back from a horrible knee injury, he has always seemed like a Randolph clone, a guy who put up great stats, but never played defense, and does not understand what a pass is. Beidrens on the other hand seem to be a Camby clone, only better actual defense, and an average post game without the selfishness. I know you can win with Beidrens as your primary big man, while Jefferson has yet to play minutes on a winning team.

Another thing is Biedrins would be amazing next to a player like Bosh... they compliment each other perfectly... I know it's a long shot.. but apparently the Nuggets have a sign and trade offer for Toronto, but then again Bosh would have to want to come here (maybe Melo can convince him)

I was under the impression that Golden State wanted to save money, and was having a "Fire Sale".

Plus Kmart is a big expiring contract and it would get the Warriors out of the 4 years left on beans deal. It isn't like Beans is coming off of a great season either. Hell, Nellie threw him under the bus last season.

The only thing I see that works is Kmart (plus Balkman) for Biedrins, Radman, and Turiaf

I'm not a warriors fan, but clearing cap and building around Curry and Randolph would seem to make a lot of sense (along with ditching Nelly). Send Monta Ellis to New York for Eddy Curry and Bill Walker and they've had a good off season IMO.

Expiring (K-Mart, Curry, Gadzuric, Wright, Azubuike, Williams)

Udoh, Gadzuric (curry... probably not a buyout)
Randolph, Wright (K-mart... buyout?)
Walker, Balkman
Azubuike, Williams
Curry, Bell

After last season they might as well hand the kids the keys to the car. Their books at least look good.

No way in hell Golden State gives away Turiaf in any Biedrins deal... the whole reason Biedrins isn't in Denver already is b/c GSW is tentative to go into the season with Turiaf as their only center (who could blame them)...

Technically they have Gadzuric and the rookie Udoh on the roster... so they would not be going into the season without a Center if they trade Turiaf. So other than your statement being incorrect you are accurate in that losing Turiaf would hurt the Warriors next year. But it makes sense financially... its not about how it looks on paper... same with moving Ellis. It just has to be done... clear the books... possibly be a player in free agency next summer.

So sure they'll need to sign a center to a one year deal later this summer. But again you might as well just clear cap space and throw the young guys out there and let them play. Either way you aren't going to the playoffs next year. Might as well sign a nice free agent and draft high next summer.

Technically.......Biedrins IS a young guy..about the same age as Udoh, who's closer to PF size, has zero NBA minutes and might miss the first month or two injured. They lost Turiaf in a dumb move, got Gadz in a dumb move since playing him is like playing just 4 players and some guy from the cheap seats. Isn't K Mart injured and Balkman a DNP scrub?

That's less than zero for the only real C they have and the guy they can least afford to lose.

We don't know for certain, but Kmart may miss some of the season. His contract is covered by insurance if he does though, so in that regard, an owner looking to save money would like that (not saying yours does). Balkman is a guy who was a near double double man filling in for Kmart 2 years ago. Brought a lot of hustle, rebounding, played hard, and you could see the positive effect he had on the court. That was at PF, but with our brilliant coaching staff, they decided he should play SF instead, but since he can't shoot, wouldn't play him there. So he got stuck on the bench. Any team that gets Balkman and gives him time, will find his contract is a steal.

Balkman is a superior rebounder for his size, is athletic - and sat out a great deal of games due to a back issue last season. Underneath all of that he is full of energy. Definitely a plus on the roster.

Kenyon played better than ever last season - he is still capable of the young Kenyon athleticism just has to dial down playing time to maximize his effectiveness.

Both quality players and a plus on any roster where they are utilized properly.

Then Denver ought to keep both. GSW is not gonna get much from either...and you know that. There's been so much OTHER damage done by the outgoing regime,it's a scorched earth retreat. This thing...is so off the wall it's funny. K Mart is gonna play..center...at 6-8? And injured?

That Balkman was injured a lot is gonna be a PLUS?

C'mon......K Mart is NOTHING to GSW. Balkman...somewhat less. Neither can much help short term and asap...are GONE with NOTHING in return. Biedrins is the starting C. Gadzuric is the "We Give Up" guy  If Gadz plays much....it's a lost cause.
