No way in hell we want anything associated with Dahntay Jones.

Now if Bird was willing to sign a couple of papers, Balkman is all his.

Balkman has been playing very well for Puerto Rico, BUT just had an altercation with Carlos Arroyo cause Arroyo was on his case for him taking an unathorized "break" from practice. They were having an intense practice and Balkman just sat while the rest of the team continued working out..... they almost had a fist fight.. some passion there but also some laziness...

Balkman is a natural rebounder and that cant be tought, he also is a spark from the bench. The incident with arroyo is your basic practice incident. Balkman has been working his ass of for the puerto rican team and will be a great asset in the world championships. By the end of the tournament he could be worth allot more to the nuggets if they want to trade him.

Funny cuz even when he plays great for PR, the same problem he had with Denver reoccurs... now one ever doubted his skill (the dude can seriously board and hustle, averaged like a double double for a span when Kenyon was out and he got big minutes) but Karl refused to play a guy who would skip practices and not go hard in the ones he attended.... also he had a sick full court shot in practice this week... but Denver Management would probably dump him for a 2nd or TPE... I think he shouldn't be given up on (but if he isn't gonna be played, might as well get something for him)

He's a decent hustling/rebounding guy. I say keep him; his contract is small anyway

Miami is the place where players seem to get in trouble with the weed. 2 years in a row one of their main players has found away to get in trouble with it, so are you talking about Carlos or Naldo?

I'm talking about the guy who was too lazy to do an "intense" practice.

I found this little bit of information about Naldo while scanning through the rumors page on another site:

Renaldo Balkman stormed off the Puerto Rican locker room after losing against Greece and National Team's head coach Manolo Cintron said he was not happy at all. "He's demanding minutes and not giving anything in return. He has not played more because I don't think he has adapted well to our system. And he has been the most inconsistent player during practices. His attitude is not good. He left the locker room at the end of the game. That's not right," said Cintron.

That's the Balkman that I remember from last year.

That is too bad, Balkman is another one that has plenty of talent, but cannot seem to grasp the concept of what it takes to earn your minutes and work within the team.

Balkman played great today, had 10pts 13 boards and was essential in the win of PR vs. CHINA. This is the first win for the PR national team after losing to Russia and Greece(thanks to the refs).

Whats the deal with him? Is he going to be waived at the end of the season, if not moved in a trade?

I doubt he gets waived, he has a guaranteed contract for a few more years.
