What is Afflalo's trade value?

Just curious...

Actually, why is he on the block in the first place? Does Denver not want to have to match offers next summer?

He's on the block? He's a good starting SG perfectly fit for what we have now (Good scorers at the SF and PG positions)

He's a good defender, hard worker, isn't useless on offense (he can actually score quite a bit), and has a nice 3pt shot.

He'd be a great fit for a team like Chicago who needs a stopper SG.

I have a feeling he is only on the block if he really is, as a major piece in a bigger deal. Something like moving KMart and his expiring for another very good player. Kind of like the Magic tried to use Lee last summer when they traded for Carter.

Doubt we moved him unless completely necessary for a larger deal. Too cheap, young and a very solid role player.

That is what I kinda figured, but wasn't sure. He isn't being dealt right now, but he is not off limits in another big trade.

Too bad, I would LOVE for the Bulls go get him. If NY needs help with a deal, I would love for Chicago to swoop in and offer James Johnson (salaires match) and a 1st on behalf of NY if Afflalo is moved to the Windy City.

My only concern is a team like Cleveland offering him stupid money next year because he is a RFA.

I hope Afflalo doesn't get dealt. He was one of the few bright spots last season and I'm confident he'll continue to improve at the offensive end.

When Melo is traded how would Afflalo go without them open 3s?

The Nuggets could turn around and offer him the money as well  and get him back. I doubt that they would do something like that, but they would have the resources available to do it. But, Brewer is a pretty similar player, he just lacks the range on his shot.

The Nuggets can still play a little go inside and kick it out game through Nene. Granted it wouldn't be anything close to what he has/had with Melo, but he will still get some open looks.

Quite low... He's an RFA this summer, which means if he is highly regarded around the league, teams will worry about giving up much for him as they may risk having to match an overpaying contract next summer. And on the other side of it, if he's not highly sought after, well his trade value is low anyway.

I still have no idea why we (Detroit) traded this guy in the first place. It's sad to see the direction my team is going in. Out with the defense, in with the fast run and gun no win basketball.

You should hang onto him for as long as you can.

The only kind of trade I'd include AAA in was if it involved sending Kenyon to another team and we needed to send them a player or a pick too.... Like if we trade Kenyon and Afflalo for Igoudala

Value is a second rounder.

he's worth significantly more than that.

Afflalo is a fan favorite, hard working, blue collar guy. He is the kind of guy that I would like to see retire from this team. He doesn't do anything great, but he's solid in all aspects of the game, he doesn't really do anything wrong. he shouldn't be traded unless it is a deal that benefits the Nuggets to include him.

I agree with el loco and that is the reason why he is worth a second rounder. He brings nothing special to the table. Sure he is a nice role player but I doubt many teams, if any at all, would trade a first rounder for him

courtney Lee seems to have some pretty solid value around the league and his numbers prior to his trade to the Nets is similar to what Afflalo did last year, and they are very similar type of players. Although Afflalo seems to be the much better 3 point shooter.

1st rounders take up cap space and a guaranteed roster spot and picks in the 20s are pawned off every year for 3 mill. Im sure some team would find Afflalo worth 3 mill.
