Harrington injured his foot, and with the news that he has been battling foot problems for the last couple of months, this is not good news.

Melo and AA have looked good, they said during the broadcast that harrington will likely be okay, he aggravated the plantar fasciitis that has been giving him problems.

Well, I suppose we should be lucky that Al didn't fall into Billups and break his leg or something... That's pretty much how our luck has been.

What I'd like to know is who has been monitoring his foot the last few weeks? It obviously wasn't 100%, so who gave the OK for him to play on it? I'm seriously wondering if we need some changes in the trainers department.

Al wasn't suppose to play the first few games of preseason anyways so I'm not too worried about it.

Exactly. Why did he? It's just a pre-season game. If he still had problems with his foot and still wanted to play, he should have been told to play the last few games, not the first.

Damn. I wanted to see how he'd do on the team.

He probably chose to play so he can earn the starting PF spot.

The Nuggets coaches and trainers just seem to be stupid. Birdman and Kmart would be healthy right now, but this franchise seems to think resting injured bigman is the wrong thing to do. Why have a little injury when you can make it major?

Hope this ain't serious really. Partially torn does not really sound good to me.

Hope our bad luck ends with this one. :)

How was it bad luck? He was playing injured.

Gotta hope the team stops playing injured players. Got nothing to do with luck.

Get used to it. Al will sit out games all season due to plantar fascitis. And LMAO at you guys questioning the training staff. Give me an effing break.

Most of the players play and manage through injuries. Part of the game.

Everyone is agitated and ready to pick up a fight!

Manage part.. yeah, but the team has been completely failing in managing injuries. Last year Bird and Kmart had overuse injuries. Those get worse with continued use. Team decided to sacrifice them for last years mess. That worked out great.

And Al, it is a preseason game. You don't play a player in a preseason game when he has the type of injury that needs rest, not continued use. The team just seems to be a joke with how it treats injuries.

Agree. on that.

Last year . I believe it has lot to do with Karl than them trainers. Melo gets injured then he overused Martin then drama continues.... Petro just sat there and wondering. Train wreck started with Karl IMO.

so on second thought, him tearing it basically will actually help fix the pain he had in the foot all summer and will have him pain free rather shortly.

So why not just cut it surgically if that would have fixed it quicker?

But interesting. Hopefully it does work out.
