Looks like Melo, Nene, and Billups are all sitting out of the game.

No TV tonight again.

Denver scores 78 in the first half and a Jazz fan is the only one who cares???
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Ty Lawson should start.

period.

I think Billups would be suited coming off the bench and keeping him fresh.

Nuggets fans are on another board and/or watching the game.

I really like Forbes.

Stays in front of his man, has good variation between his shots (from driving to shooting from 3). It's a shame that our guard rotations are set because I'd really like to see solid minutes from him.

Shelden Williams - it's really good to have a big that can hit midrange jumpers.

They say he can play SF, and there is footage somewhere with him guarding Melo very well in scrimmages. He could be getting some minutes soon.

Carter trying to pass the ball up the court is just sad, I think that is the 3rd one in a row with him passing to the other team.

For him to get minutes, Melo would need to play some PF.

I don't see Karl doing it.

Melo already aknowledged he would be playing PF some, although I don't see him being a factor much longer.

Lawson with 27 on 10 shots, which is almost as good as Williams 25 on 8 shots.

Something about our bench this year!!!

Now we need Al Harrington to fulfill his destiny when he comes back hopefully on opening night. Anyone knows about his return?

49 points in a quarter is pretty darn impressive, preseason or not.

If only we could get that ball movement with the starters in the game.

Great game for the Nuggets without Nene, Melo, Billups,Harrington not to mention Kmart and Andersen.

Rotations for opener?

Nene (33) - Williams (15)
Shelden (10) - Harrington (25) - Melo (3)
Melo (33) - JR (5) - Forbes (10)
Afflalo (28) - JR (20)
Billups (26) - Lawson (22)

I personally am hoping that if they are going to trade Melo it will be before opening night.

That being said, our lack of size is scary especially when you lay out the rotation like that. I think your rotations are going to be pretty close, but I still cannot see how we can win as many games this year as we did last year considering we still have 4 natural PFs, and only one backup center who is still injured.

That was fun to watch. I can't complain about anybody that played, which is great. It was a nice team effort all the way around.

Afflalo and Forbes looked great at the 3 spot tonight. Heck, i don't need to talk about it, the boxscore says it all.
